入道家住宅は、散居村を形成する砺波市東部に位置し、かいにょと呼ばれる屋敷林を備えた大規模民家で県指定有形文化財。
外観は、砺波平野の散居村に多くみられるアズマダチ建築と呼ばれる切妻の妻面を正面にみせた建築様式の典型例として貴重であり、白壁のコントラストも見事である。
